The Obamas Purchased Their Rental Home for $8.1 Million
According to the Washington Post and UrbanTurf, the Obamas may stay in Washington DC. They purchased the eight bedroom Kalorama mansion that they have been renting since January for $8.1 Million. The previous owner, Lockhart bought it in 2014 for $5.295 million and sold it to them for $8.1 Million, and it is the second most expensive home in the Kalorama Neighborhood, the Washington Post reported.
