Aldi Coming to Yorktown Shopping Center in Merrifield
The fast-growing Aldi grocery store, founded in Germany in 1961 is coming to Merrifield at 8100-A Arlington Blvd. in the Yorktown Shopping Center. It will be in a space where Staples used to be. According to Annandale Blog, the new Aldi store will be about the same size as the one opened in Annandale in May 2017. It might be trouble for some the weaker grocery chains, but can be good for the consumers.
